Each year the South Coast and Tablelands Swimming Association selects swimmers from within the District to participate in its Development Squads. Selected swimmers are graded according to ability and invited to attend an number of training sessions during the season. As well as pool sessions squad members are lectured on stretching, mental preparation, diet and the Rules of Swimming. The District also pays for each squad member to attend a designated carnival, including transport, meet entry, pool entry, meals and, if necessary, accommodation.

NSW Development Meet Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre SCAT pays for selected members of the D Squad aged 9 and over to travel to this meet. Entries to SCAT officials (Entry is paid for by SCAT). SCAT team shirts and caps will be issued on the day. |
