About SCAT

 

The SCAT District is centred on the city of Wollongong and extends throughout the Illawarra region of New South Wales, Australia.

It includes the cities of

Wollongong, Shellharbour and Shoalhaven

 and the local government areas of

Kiama, Wingecarribee and Wongawilli

 The SCAT District covers an area extending from Helensburgh in the north to Ulladulla in the south and from the coast, inland to the Southern Highlands as far as Bowral.

There are twenty independent swimming clubs within the SCAT District. Each will provide opportunities for learning to swim, stoke correction and training for swimmers of all abilities from beginners through to national champions.
